Welcome to Art Class!

This is Mr. Moran. I have been an art teacher for nearly 20 years. I taught graphic design in NY and NJ including my alma mater, Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. I was an art teacher in Elizabeth, NJ teaching K-8 for 15 years. In addition, I have exhibited my paintings in NY and NJ and had a graphic design business, designing book covers mainly. I am a product of Catholic schools having attended elementary and middle school at St Mary's of Redford in Detroit, MI.

For the 1st marking period all students will draw. Drawing is the foundation of thinking with our eyes and hands. From a young age we learn to express ourselves through drawing. We will learn ways to make our drawings represent our best selves, using different kinds of lines, shapes and tools.
